ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

I understand that participation in activities offered by OSHO Wellness Centre, including but not limited to meditation, yoga, breathwork, movement practices, emotional release processes, hypnotherapy, workshops, retreats, volunteer activities, and wellness programs, may involve physical exertion, emotional expression, psychological exploration, and other activities that carry inherent risks of injury, illness, emotional distress, or other unforeseen consequences.

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in these activities with full knowledge of the potential risks involved and freely accept and assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

I represent and warrant that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of participating in these activities. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a qualified physician, psychologist, therapist, or other healthcare provider prior to participation if I have any concerns regarding my physical or mental health.

I acknowledge that OSHO Wellness Centre, its owners, directors, facilitators, volunteers, contractors, staff members, and representatives, including Ajay Kaul (Govind), are not providing medical, psychiatric, psychological, or healthcare services unless expressly stated in writing. I further understand that the programs and services offered are intended for educational, wellness, personal growth, and spiritual development purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric diagnosis, advice, treatment, or care.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of British Columbia and Canada, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless OSHO Wellness Centre, its owners, directors, facilitators, volunteers, contractors, employees, agents, representatives, landlords, property owners, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, expenses, liabilities, or compensation of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in any activity conducted by or associated with OSHO Wellness Centre.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless OSHO Wellness Centre and the individuals listed above from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or legal expenses arising from my actions, conduct, or participation.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Agreement, fully understand its contents, understand that I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to bring legal action against the released parties, and sign this Agreement voluntarily without any inducement or assurance.

Photography, Video & Privacy Notice

At OSHO Wellness Centre, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and confidential environment for meditation, healing, personal growth, and self-exploration.

Privacy & Confidentiality
  • Personal stories, emotional sharing, and participant experiences shared during programs are confidential and should not be discussed outside the group.
  • Participants are asked to respect the privacy of others at all times.
  • Unauthorized photography, video recording, or audio recording by participants is not permitted during sessions unless expressly approved by the facilitator.
Photography & Video Recording
  • From time to time, OSHO Wellness Centre may take photographs or record short videos for educational, promotional, archival, or social media purposes.
  • Every effort will be made to avoid recording personal sharing, therapeutic processes, or sensitive participant interactions.
  • Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos should inform the facilitator before the event begins.
  • Requests to opt out will be respected whenever reasonably possible.
Use of Images
  • Photographs and videos taken by OSHO Wellness Centre may be used on websites, social media platforms, newsletters, brochures, and other promotional materials.

By attending an event at OSHO Wellness Centre, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this notice and agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants.

The programs, workshops, meditations, yoga classes, retreats, therapies, hypnotherapy sessions, and wellness activities offered at OSHO Wellness Centre are intended for educational, personal growth, relaxation, and spiritual development purposes only.

Our services are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or healthcare advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician, therapist, or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical or mental health condition.

By participating in any activity at OSHO Wellness Centre, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
  • You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • You will inform facilitators of any relevant medical, psychological, or physical conditions that may affect your participation.
  • You will discontinue any activity that causes pain, discomfort, or distress and seek appropriate professional assistance if needed.
  • OSHO Wellness Centre, its facilitators, volunteers, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or adverse reaction resulting from participation in its programs or activities.

If you are currently under medical or psychiatric care, taking medication, pregnant, recovering from injury, or experiencing significant mental health challenges, please consult your healthcare provider before participating.

Participation in any program constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer.
